LOB DER EINSAMKEIT (2023)
is a survey of the phenomenon of loneliness in our exuberant society.
We are becoming more and more - and more and more lonely.
We feel observed, watch ourselves, put ourselves on display. Big fashion brands are setting the trend (image quote: Gucci, advert on Pinterest, Spring/Summer 2018, Gucci Hallucination) - fast fashion and the actors are following suit.
Always ready for action with the Leopard 2 on a gold chain. The self-promotion war of our time. In the distance, the E. Hopper window (picture quote: Edward Hopper, Morning Sun, 1952), which even then stood for industrialisation and loneliness in the big city. But the gaze is directed from the view of the lonely city to a selfie stick and thus to oneself and one's own performance.
